Manage high blood cholesterol and high blood pressure, if any.

Promote Self-Care

If you are already diagnosed with diabetes, you must have your meal at around the same time every day. This is a very crucial point to follow to fight against diabetes. Do not forget to take you diabetes medicine meticulously at the same time each day. Thoroughly check your feet every day for any apparent damage including cuts, swelling, blisters, redness, sores, and sore toenails. Brush carefully your teeth and gums every day.
